Cherry Creek Acres/ Kaisand's Percherons

We have loved, owned and ridden Quarter horses all our lives.  Then in 1994 Denny decided he wanted to try draft horses.  He went to the 1994 spring Kalona Draft horse sale, and came home with a pair of beautiful black draft mares that just happened to be sisters.  After deciding he really loved driving them, he went back to the 1995 sale and came home with another pair of Percheron draft mares AND a Percheron stallion named Elvira’s Spencer.  And it went up hill from there!  We have been raising, showing, breeding and selling draft horses ever since.  And of course, we never got rid of the Quarter horses.  In 2000 we added a Vis-à-vis to our menagerie and started doing weddings, proms, birthdays, and parades.  In 2006 we decided to try our hand at Ranch Horses.  With a granddaughter that loves the horses almost as much as we do, we decided it was time to spend time with her, before she gets to that car driving stage, and do some riding, camping and a little showing on the side.
